2025

Year in Review

We specialize in strategies that accelerate growth and serve as integrated operators to turn your vision into reality.

Founder’s Message

As we look back on 2025, one theme stands out: we are stronger together.

This year has been both inspiring and challenging for the social impact sector. Leaders have navigated shifting funding landscapes, rising needs, and the growing complexity of driving impact in uncertain times. Yet through it all, we’ve witnessed remarkable resilience—and an even stronger commitment to collaboration and innovation.

At Raise for Good, we believe that lasting change happens when we move beyond silos and bring capital, capacity, and community together. In 2025, that belief guided our work. Through our programs and services, we supported leaders to build more durable organizations, strengthen their teams, and create sustainable fundraising strategies. We also partnered with funders and philanthropic leaders who recognize that real impact requires investing not only in programs, but in the people and infrastructure that power them.

Through our work, we saw key trends emerge across the sector:

  • a shift toward funding diversification, with renewed focus on individual giving

  • a widespread need to strengthen team capacity with limited resources

  • a growing intentionality with strategy as funders and nonprofits work to demonstrate outcomes and long-term impact

Each story in this report reflects what’s possible when purpose and practice align. Even in a challenging year, progress flourishes when we integrate ideas, relationships, and resources in service of a shared goal.

Thank you for being part of this community of changemakers. Your partnership continues to inspire us as we look ahead to 2026—with a renewed commitment to unlocking more capital, strengthening organizational capacity, and building a more connected, resilient social impact ecosystem.

Celebrating our Partners

Capacity-Strengthening Programs

In partnership with funders and nonprofit leaders, we are helping organizations unlock their full potential and drive meaningful social change. Through capacity-building programs delivered across virtual and in-person learning experiences, participants gain practical strategies, hands-on tools, expert coaching, and a supportive peer community that strengthens resilience, elevates leadership, and amplifies mission-driven impact.

Custom Cohort Programs

Our signature custom capacity building programs are co-designed with funders to meet grantee organizations where they are. From months-long learning journeys to targeted virtual events and one-day workshops, our programs extend funder support far beyond the grant.

Percentages reflect the share of respondents who selected 4 or 5 in pre- and post-program surveys. Surveyed respondents may differ; results represent overall cohort confidence level rather than individual participant growth.

Fundraising Masterclass

In 2025, we launched the Fundraising Masterclass, an accelerated program, based on learnings from our 2024 pilot. This course increases nonprofit leaders’ confidence in leading and executing their fundraising strategy, a timely offering given fundraising landscape changes.

As new leaders, we can get caught in the weeds of the work. These programs have given us countless tools that we use on a daily basis as well as connected us with people who have pushed us into organizational clarity and success.
— Kendra Unique, Operations Director, Dancing Grounds

My biggest takeaway is realizing the importance of a community like this. Being able to share our experiences and learn from each other makes the overall outlook feel more positive knowing and feeling like we are all in it together.

Unlocking Growth: How Strategic Fundraising Fuels Next Stage of Non-profit Impact

Duration: 9+ months

Challenge: CodePath needed a strategic fundraising partner to scale their philanthropy team and reach a $20M revenue goal to support an ambitious 2.5× impact growth over three years. Complex funder relationships and rapid growth required organizational guidance and revenue strategy, and a vacancy in their development team lead role created a need for fractional leadership during a critical growth period.

Approach: Raise for Good served as fractional development lead, driving fundraising strategy, team execution, and change management. Short-term efforts in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team refined pipelines, moves management and revenue tracking, and partnerships with funders like Ballmer Group. Long-term efforts included coaching staff to shift from a restricted, program-centered model to a product-led approach, fueled by unrestricted funding and earned revenue. This involved executive thought partnership for organizational change that would maintain durability and operational excellence. Other work included nurturing current donors toward flexible funding while building a pipeline of new unrestricted supporters, to position CodePath for durable, future growth.

Deepening a Global Movement
for Corporate Philanthropy

Celebrating Multi-Year Long-Term Partnership with Pledge 1%

Through long-term partnership over the past seven years, Raise for Good served as a C-Suite and Board Leadership strategic advisor helping position Pledge 1% as a global leader in corporate philanthropy.  Through diversified fundraising strategies, strengthened membership cohort programs, guidance on keystone events, and support for internal operational sustainability, the partnership has mobilized billions in new philanthropy and advanced the global corporate giving movement.

At the close of 2024, Raise for Good helped Pledge 1% celebrate a decade of impact with three 10-Year Anniversary events attended by 100+ social impact leaders, raising over $500,000 at one event alone. Building on this momentum in 2025, the team guided key transitional hires, supported organizational resilience, and partnered with Atlassian to host a high-level donor engagement trip in Australia, bringing together 100+ CEOs, founders, and social impact leaders to deepen engagement and strengthen the movement.

This long-term partnership has redefined how the corporate world embeds giving into its core, mobilizing billions in philanthropy and building a sustainable, global movement for corporate impact.
